Power

The Kawasaki H2 750 is undoubtedly the street-twostroke motorbike with the biggest powerreserve ever to hit the streets. Today, pro-tuners like Ebos (Sweden), Darren Abrahams (US) and Neville Lush (Australia) can even upgrade the H2 to deliver well over 120 RWHP on pumpgas. This bike on the right has (enginewise) been upgraded with reedvalved cylinders.

For serious streetuse, road- and dragracing, the stock gearbox layout has proven to be the achileesheel of this 30 year old enginedesign. Now the new EX-billetengine has become available, tuners can go full steam ahead and use the full power this 750 triple is capable of. This (lower right) is Swedish dragracer
Bo Thorselius. He’s been knocking on the 7 sec quartermile barrier a number of times with his >220 RWHP nitrous ‘Ebos‘ H2. Over the years he has seen his gearbox fail many times
