Improvements

This new H2EX engine is a true ‘extended’ version of the 30 year old original. Playingtime has
been extended.
Major improvements over the original design are:

6 speed GPZ/ZZR gearbox (left) replaces stock 5 speed setup. The new box is designed to take 150 RWHP, will shift cleanly and will last.Accurately machined bearingseats reduce internal friction

Increased wallthickness in heavily stressed areas and superior quality of aluminum alloy improves ridgidity of the EX-enginecase. This increases output and extends life of vital engineparts

Bearingseats for crankshaft have holes for fixation of outerraces. Using crankbearings with peg-pin outerrace will prevent race to rotate within the case and consequent wearing out of bearingseats

Distance between outputshaft and swingarm axle has been reduced. Chaintension varies less than stock while suspension is being compressed

Hydraulicaly actuated clutchassembly just like GPZ/ZZR-engines

Shiftdrum has been relocated and is now situated underneath the engine. This change makes it easier to fitt big carbs and/or reedvalved cylinders
